We Specialise In Walkers!
  • Luggage Transfer: we will move your luggage from one overnight stop to the next
  • Pick-up and Drop-off: we can arrange to transport you  at the beginning and end of your day's walking.
  • Drying Facilities: we will dry your clothes, boots or equipment overnight.

The Black Mountains, Offa's Dyke or the Brecon Beacons  
With the Black Mountains being the backdrop to our cottage, Rock is an excellent base camp for your expeditions! The ancient Offa's Dyke path is nearby. A  walk on local footpaths takes you to the ridge of the Black Hill and stupendous views across the Brecon Beacons.
 
The Herefordshire Way
If gentler walking is your forte, then the Herefordshire Way passes not far from the cottage, being part of an ancient network of footpaths used by generations of local country people.
  
Local Footpaths
Walk our local footpaths: you may walk on footpaths from the very door of the cottage! There are options for circular walks taking anything from 30 minutes to a couple of hours or all day if you wish!
