Food

Meals are served in our large and pleasant  farmhouse kitchen from where  there are views over our gardens to the Black Mountains. When the weather is fine visitors are welcome to eat outdoors.  
 
All food is freshly prepared from wholesome and, where possible, locally sourced ingredients. In addition to breakfasts we supply teas, packed lunches and excellent evening meals.

Thirty friends and neighbours gathered in the kitchen of Rock Cottage for a blind tasting and grading of eight different, locally produced sausages. The winning sausage was supplied by Oakchurch Farm Shop of Staunton on Wye

A three-course evening meal is available if required at £20.
 Cheese and biscuits £2.50 extra.

We specialise in cooking game, though we also serve other meats and cater for vegetarians.

Breasts of wood pigeon served on  parsnip and carrot mash
